"Be The Light" Bus Parade
Thank you WSD3 Transportation for organizing a bus parade to show support for district seniors. The kind gesture was well received in our community. The bus parade was part of the city and county's "Be The Light" campaign to celebrate the Class of 2020. People were asked to turn on the lights for one hour on May 20 at 8:20 p.m. In addition to the bus parade lighting up neighborhood streets, we also turned the lights on at C.A. Foster Stadium. FOX 21 interviewed a couple of our seniors for "Be The Light," check out the news story here.
