Moving? Not Returning to Tiffany Ridge next year?
We need YOU! Please volunteer!
The 2019-2020 school year is going to be an amazing year and we would love for YOU to be part of it. If you’ve been thinking about becoming more involved, now is the time. Please take a moment and look at the link below and place your name in an area you’d be interested in helping out with next school year (2019/2020) within PTA. While we would love it if you can chair a committee, you don’t have to be the chairperson of a committee to help!
School Safety Information
There may be occasions when we seek the support of our Park Hill school resource officers, who are Platte County sheriff’s deputies. Their presence at our school might cause you concern. Please be assured that if your children are ever in any type of danger, you will receive email and phone communication immediately. In most cases, we call the SROs to Tiffany Ridge to help with a particular student with a specific need. This allows us to isolate the concern and keep everyone safe. Should you have further questions about school safety, feel free to reach out to Dr. Rios at 816-359-4400.
Have you completed RESIDENCY VERIFICATION?
Tiffany Ridge has only 53% of our families complete! Please log into your parent portal to verify your student(s) information and upload your residency documents. This also enrolls for your child for next school year! Click HERE for more details or call the Tiffany Ridge Office if you need assistance.
Fitness Friday and Walk to School Day Family Information
On Friday, May 31, 2019, we are celebrating our 3rd annual Fitness Friday celebration! We will kick off the day by walking to school. Below is the information you need to know about this day!
Walkers: We encourage students who live close and can safely walk to walk to school with an adult. We will have teachers at several neighborhood locations to meet students and walk to school. Expect teachers to be out in the neighborhoods around 8:10. See the map below for locations.
Car riders: Those that are car riders will be encouraged to be dropped off at North Heartland Community Church. Drop off your child by 8:15am to begin walking to TR.
Bike riders: Ride to school as usual.
Bus riders: We will also have a walking opportunity for our bus riders. Buses will drop students off at North Heartland Community Church. Fill out this permission slip to give your child permission to get off their bus and walk with TR teachers.
ONLY STUDENTS WHO RIDE A BUS NEED TO FILL OUT THIS PERMISSION SLIP. We would love everyone else just to join us! Parents are more than welcome to walk with their students to school or come to North Heartland Community Church and walk with us from there. In the event of rain, your child will come to school as normal as the event will be cancelled.
Summer Kids Soccer Camp
Children will learn from PHHS Coaches, as we all as current members of Park Hill Men's Soccer team: basic drills, foot skills and experience the joy of soccer in a fun-filled setting!
Please arrive with the registration form below completed and printed, along with your payment the first day of camp. Click HERE for the registration form. We look forward to seeing you on the pitch!
Summer School

What is AVID?
By teaching and reinforcing academic behaviors and higher-level thinking at a young age, AVID Elementary teachers create a ripple effect in later grades. Elementary students develop the academic habits they will need to be successful in middle school, high school, and college, in an age-appropriate and challenging way. Children learn about organization, study skills, communication, and self-advocacy. AVID Elementary students take structured notes and answer and ask high-level questions that go beyond routine answers.
The strong college-going culture on an AVID Elementary campus encourages students to think about their college and career plans. College and careers are no longer foreign concepts, and teachers provide the academic foundation students need to be on a path for college and career success. AVID Elementary closes the opportunity gap before it begins.

Do you know a Park Hill Star?
The Park Hill Star recognition program was started in 2015 to celebrate support staff and teachers whose work is especially noteworthy.
The following is an overview of the Park Hill Star Program:
Our employees are the reason we are so successful here in the Park Hill School District, and we would like to recognize them for all they do for our students.
That is why we present the Park Hill Star award once a month to a pre-K or elementary teacher, a secondary teacher and a support employee.
