A Message from our Principal...
Dear Jefferson Families,
We are zooming into February! This year is flying. I hope that you are enjoying the longer days. I love it that I can drive home and it's no longer dark! As an added bonus, the sunsets have been stunningly beautiful. I hope that everyone is able to enjoy the show that nature puts on for us each day! And, did you know that today is International Read Aloud Day? Students listened to guest readers this afternoon, myself included. I encourage you to have your child read aloud to you and you to them. I learned that children are never too old to be read to.
Meanwhile, back in school, we are working madly on safe plans to bring students back into the buildings. Please keep reading our Friday updates for the latest information. We are so looking forward to having our students in the building again. To be as safe as possible for everyone, we will begin our return to the buildings in a gradual manner. In addition to our weekly Friday updates, your child’s homeroom teacher will also be a point of contact for you. We have made it this far, and with just a bit more patience, we’ll have students back in our classrooms.
Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We are here to help.
Happy January,
Dr. Judy Floeter
