Medicaid Waiver Programs are now called Long Term Care Services
It is really important to sign up for DDA even though there are waiting lists because sometimes new funding becomes available. If DDA doesn't know the family exists then they can't plan for the future.

Smart Kids with Learning Difficulties

Topics include: Navigating the educational system, overcoming obstacles and helping your children reach their potential

Sibshop Workshop
Sibshops provide young brothers and sisters peer support and information in a lively, recreational setting.
Sibshops are evidence of their loving concern for the family member who will have the longest-lasting relationship with a person who has a disability. For the kids who attend Sibshops they will meet other siblings, have fun, and talk about the good & the not-so-good parts of having a sibling with special needs with others who "get it." Learn how other brothers and sisters handle sticky situations sometimes faced by siblings. Most of all have some FUN!

Effective Strategies for Challenging Behaviors

Topics include: Understanding the cause of challenging behaviors and implementing effective strategies to mitigate these behaviors
