Farm Fresh Pop Up at AHS Tomorrow
Feel free to share with students!
Our next Farm Fresh Pop-Up is tomorrow!
On Thursday, May 14, we will be handing out 10-pound variety boxes of vegetables. Each box will include some combination of cucumbers, potatoes, radishes, collards, broccoli, peppers, squash, and eggplant.
We’ll start at 10 a.m. and remain until the variety boxes run out. This will take place in our bus loop.
We will practice safe social distancing and wear masks. We ask that members of the public remain in their vehicles. Just pop the trunk and we’ll do the rest.
Here’s how our Farm Fresh Pop-Up works. When we get in a shipment of donated fruit or vegetables from a local farmer, we determine where and when we will distribute it – usually the next day, since the goal is to get it out to the public as quickly as possible. Many thanks to Feeding Florida and L&M for the generous donation.
Keep an eye out for our next Farm Fresh Pop-Up. We’ll announce it as soon as we can secure some more fresh fruits or vegetables to share with our community. Stay tuned and stay healthy.
