This week we will have opportunity to share in the joy of the Venneman family as we claim God’s promises in baptism over Halloway JeeHye Venneman during the 11 am service. We will continue the sermon series, “Walking the Jesus Way,” with our focus on Psalm 126 and the blessed result of walking the Jesus Way – finding joy in the LORD.
Next week we will continue our "Walking the Jesus Way" sermon series, focusing on Psalm 127 and the importance of living our lives working with and for God.
We have not been making extra DVD copies of the worship service due to lack of requests. If you would like one though, simply let the office know.

From Jen Sterk: "Thanks to ALL our amazing volunteers who have been so great through so many transitions! You are all a BLESSING!"
Did you know? RightNow Media is an online video streaming service that provides churches with on-demand biblical content to share with their members. With Providence's subscription, you have access to over 20,000 biblical videos for adults and kids! Contact the office if you'd like to get started (email@example.com or 616-698-7930).

From CAP (Church Assistance Program)
Having heart disease or a stroke significantly increases your risk for anxiety or depression -- and vice versa. Taking care of your mental well-being is just as important as taking care of your blood pressure and cholesterol. If you're struggling with stress, anxiety, or depression, call CAP at 616-455-6210 or 800-442-0809 to schedule a free appointment with a licensed clinician.
Outreach: Reaching out through life-giving relationships within our community
Details are still being ironed out, but we hope to offer a work trip opportunity to Florida for February 27-March 13 through Catholic Charities, an organization that World Renew/CRWRC has connected us with. You could serve for one or two weeks. For those considering going, please be aware that the group will be following minimal to no COVID protocols, based on the organization’s guidelines. Please let Butch TenHaaf or Jason Ruis know ASAP if you would like to go. Your prompt response will help us organize travel arrangements, housing expectations, and food considerations. Butch TenHaaf’s contact information is 616-366-3747 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you!

Please continue praying for your neighbors and considering creative ways to reach out and bless them during this time of social distancing. Pray also for our leaders as we discern plans for the future.
We have created business card invites to pass on to your neighbors and friends. The QR code connects directly to our YouTube channel. "JOIN US ONLINE" and "JOIN US IN PERSON" versions are available at the Welcome Center! It's a simple way for people to catch a glimpse of the heart of Providence.
The Hand2Hand ministry continues each week! Currently we are packing food bags for the weekend for 145 Glenwood students. We pack for two weeks every other Wednesday from 5-6 pm in the fellowship hall. We have had several families help pack over the last few months and that was great, we love seeing families doing this service together! We are still in need of packers for February, March, April. If you can help, please sign up online. Thank you!!
