SUMMER ANNOUNCEMENTS
SUMMER ORCHESTRA CAMP- July 30th - Aug. 1
Dear 7/8 grade returning orchestra parents and students,
This year's RRISD Summer Orchestra Camp will take place Monday, July 30th, through Wednesday, August 1st. Rehearsals will be held at Cedar Ridge High School from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM daily. We will have a camp concert on Wednesday, August 1st, at 7:00 PM in our beautiful new Cedar Ridge Performing Arts Center next to CRHS. All parents are invited to attend the concert!
Registration is now closed. For those attending the camp, I will meet bus riders at Hopewell slightly before departure on Monday only. But, I will be at each rehearsal every day! If you're not riding the bus, I'll see you at 9:00 a.m.
FOR INCOMING BEGINNERS ONLY
Here is your checklist if you are needing some refreshers:
1.) Turn in your $30 supply order asap (these are your books and accessories); you can drop off your payment in the front office
2.) If you will be purchasing your instrument, you will need it the first week of school
3.) If your child will be playing cello / bass OR will be needing to reserve a school-owned instrument because of inability to rent from an outside vendor, please reserve your instrument online here.
4.) Go out and shop for your instrument. Here is the list of vendors.

If your child will continue to use their school-instrument for the fall, please fill out this digital form out so that I can update your information for the next school year.
