Why Is the Lime Important to Eat ?

The lime has antioxidant and antibiotic effects and have been proved to help fight agains cancer. They can help fight stomach, colon, mouth, lung, skin and breast cancers. They also assist the breaking down of food in your tummy. The vitamin C in lime helps blood flow and heart health.

What Would Happen If You Got to Much or to Little ?

If you got to little your skin will dry and you will bleed easy. You can get scurvy a disease that causes exhaustion, irritation of the gums, small red spots on the skin, poor wound healing, joint pain and corkscrew hairs. To much vitiman C will cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, abdominal bloating and cramps, headache, insomnia, and kidney stones.

The Recommended Daily Amount

For adults, the recommended amount for vitamin C is 65 to 90 milligrams a day, and the upper limit is 2,000 mg a day. To be health you don't need to get that amount everyday but try to get it as much as possible.
