Principal's Message
Two of the highlights of my day are drop-off and dismissal. I get to give out high-fives, and have short, amazing conversations with students as they are starting and ending their days. It's a wonderful opportunity for me to connect in a small way with our students!
While I'm out in the mornings and afternoons, I've noticed, as many of you have, that we have a lot of cars dropping off and picking up! To help all of our students, staff and caregivers stay safe in the parking lot, please follow these guidelines:
1. Only drop off from the parking lot to the right of the roundabout OR from the cul-de-sac just to the south of the school. Please do not drop your student in the roundabout or in the bus circle.
2. Only drop off from the curb, and remain in the curb-side lane until you have dropped your student off.
3. Only use the "passing lane" after you have dropped your student off. Please do not cut in line from the "passing lane".
4. If you are parking or waiting, please turn your car off to protect the developing lungs of our students.
5. Please follow all staff directions in the parking lot and along Grant
6. If it's possible and safe for your family, consider walking or biking to school.

Message from Washington County Department of Health & Human Services
Please help spread the word about a prevention-focused event designed for Hispanic/Latinx families. See attached flyer and description below. The hybrid event will take place on October 1st and will be facilitated in Spanish (with English interpretation available). The in-person events are in Clackamas County and Multnomah County.
If folks aren’t able to attend in-person they can view the keynote speaker, Dr. Ricardo Olalde, virtually. We are hoping to expand this to Washington County next year so there will be a in-person option for Washington County families.
If anyone is interested in viewing the keynote speaker on Zoom, please see the attached flyer for the registration link.
