New Ministry Opportunities
Parish Prison Ministry
In May, a team of All Saints and St. Martin's parishioners will launch our new prison ministry, One Parish One Prisoner (OPOP). We are still looking for folks to be involved, so contact Morningstar if you're interested in attending the May 15th orientation.
The same organization that facilitates OPOP has also partnered with Fidalgo coffee. Consider supporting a local business that provides employment to men and women with prior convictions.
Puyallup Catholic Relief Services Chapter

St. James Cathedral Immigrant Assistance - GroopIt
There's a new way to help immigrants in our community. Join the St. James Cathedral Immigrant GroopIt. This on-line platform provides an opportunity for people to connect with each other and support immigrants. As a member of the GroopIt, you’ll see requests for specific needs such as a ride to the doctor, furniture, clothing, meals, help setting up a TV, etc. If you are available to help, there’s an easy way to respond to get all the information you need.
In addition, you will see posts about events, advocacy alerts, and immigration-related news. You’ll also be able to recommend books or movies, share some good news and good acts, and connect to others like you who are concerned with justice for immigrants.
Come join us on GroopIt to build an even stronger community and work for justice for immigrants!
We hope you'll embrace this opportunity to become more involved. Please email Christopher Koehler at ckoehler@stjames-cathedral.org to get instructions for joining.
