Aswan High Dam
The Aswan Dam was built between the 1960's and the 1970's. It's location is in Aswan, Egypt. Some landforms or geographical features that are near the Aswan river are the Nile River and east African drainage basin. The structure was built to control the flooding and make hydroelectricity, it was also built to provide water for irrigation. The dam uses turbines also known as a mechanical device that pulls energy from water flow and converts it into usable electricity. There hasn't been any evidence that the dam pollutes the water. The dam has impacted animals by lowering the fish population.
