"R" Awards at RMS

With the opening of our new middle school, we are looking forward to recognizing all the hard work our students have put in this school year. We are excited to announce the introduction of the “R Awards”. These awards are based on our school-wide behavior expectations that align with PBIS (Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports).

Big picture

Teachers will be nominating students from their teams who exemplify these characteristics. Additionally, some teams have elected to nominate students for team specific awards. We will also mail home GPA certificates along with report cards. GPA recognition includes “Academic Excellence” for those students receiving a 3.5 GPA or higher as well as “Academic Award” for those students receiving between a 3.0 and 3.4 GPA.

Team celebrations will take place during our Activity Days the last week of school.

Students who ordered yearbooks through Jostens in the fall will receive their yearbook during Advisory class next Thursday, June 3. Yearbooks were ordered through Jostens. If you are not sure if one was ordered, you can check your account at: Jostens.com

Students who are in Cohort C that ordered a book will be able to pick up their books from school after 3rd hour on Thursday.

Those yearbooks will be sold for $48, CASH ONLY AND EXACT CHANGE PLEASE, before school on Friday, June 3.
