Course Information
ELA
Unit 3-Folktales & Legends
In Unit 3 of ELA, we will be learning about folktales through reading the story, "The Stone in the Road." We will read two different versions of this folktale and will be comparing and contrasting the two versions.
We will also continue working on our short stories. Students will be going through the editing, revising, and publishing stages of the writing process and will complete their short story as their Quarter 2 Writing TGA. Be sure to follow the daily plan and complete the corresponding activity book pages in order to stay on track with the writing process.
Math
Unit 3-Exploring Multiplication
In Unit 3 of Math, we will begin to explore multiplication. Multiplication is a foundational skill for many other math skills, so it is crucial that students begin practicing their math facts daily. See the links below for resources to practice math facts!

- The IEP is developed by the IEP team at a meeting. An IEP is good for one year. It can be changed anytime during the year in another IEP team meeting.
- The IEP team has a very important job. You will want to attend the meetings to be part of all the decisions about your child.
- You know your child best. The IEP team needs you!

Tips & Tricks for a Successful School Year
