Alward Action
November 2, 2018
Note from Mrs. McClure
Today, our school had a special assembly to recognize our October Student Champions and kick-off our November Student Champion theme with Maranda from Wood TV8! There will be special segment coming out in the next week or so about today's assembly and our mission to be champions everyday. We will keep you posted with more information as it gets relayed to us.
We are so proud of all of our students for their efforts in taking ownership of their actions to be positive at school and out in the community. This month, we will continue to be Positive Champions, but also strive to be "Helpful" citizens. Students met in their Alward Teams today to talk about how they can be helpful at school, home, and/or out in the community. They then made a personal goal to meet by the end of the November. We are excited to hear about how our students are helping out this month!
Finally, we are looking forward to meeting with all of you next week at Parent-Teacher Conferences on Wednesday and Thursday! If you have not signed up for a conference yet, please see the link below. We are excited to team with you to help your child be successful this year at Alward!
Happy November!
