From the PTA

Your time is valuable and gifting it makes a world of difference to the Chatham Grove community. Volunteering at the Thrift Shop is currently the PTA’s largest fundraiser for CGE. This is an opportunity for EVERYONE to get involved (students aged 10+, parents, grandparents, neighbors, friends!) to generate funds to distribute school wide on a yearly basis in the form of classroom allowances, teacher grants, and student/teacher/staff support and appreciation.

*NEW SPRING WORK GROUP DATES ARE NOW AVAILABLE!*

Each week, we will be highlighting some of our K-5 students for receiving a shout-out from someone in the school community. We are so proud of these students for exemplifying CHOMPS expectations throughout the school! Below are the shout-outs for the week of March 14th. Great job, gators!

Camp Invention

Camp Invention is full for campers this summer!! Camp will take place here at Chatham Grove June 13-17 from 8am-4pm. We still need 3 more middle school students to help as Leaders in Training and 4 more high school or college students to work as Leadership Interns (high school and college age). Leadership Interns will be paid a flat rate of $150 (new) or $175 (returning) and can get recommendation letters for college and/or future jobs. We are also looking for more parent volunteers to help with lunch and managing the supply room. Please note that all parent volunteers will need to fill out Chatham County's volunteer form. Parent Volunteers will receive a discount code to receive $130 off up to 2 campers or $30 off up to 2 Leaders in Training which can be refunded if you have already registered your child. Let me know if you are interested!
