Veteran's Day - A word from President Christy Welch
This year’s conference takes place on and right after Veteran’s day. This has not been overlooked. My dad, Soupy Campbell, is a Vietnam Veteran and I think it is important to honor our veterans not only on Veteran’s day, but every day.
If you are a veteran and will be at conference on Wednesday and/or Thursday we would be honored for you to lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance prior to the keynote speaker.
Please contact Christy Welch at welchc@watauga.k12.nc.us so that we can be sure to coordinate this effort to honor both you and our country.
