Thank you all for coming to Jane Addams for our Parent Teacher Conferences in November. It was wonderful to celebrate all the ways your students are growing and learning! If you have not visited in-person or virtually to have this scheduled conference, please contact your child's teacher prior to Winter Break.

It is hard to believe the Winter Break is quickly approaching. We wanted to remind you about our upcoming days off. District 15 begins Winter Break on December 23, 2021. Our first day back to school is scheduled for January 10, 2022. We also wanted to remind you that there is no school on Monday, January 17 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. In addition, the day after is a Teacher Institute Day. As such, there is no school on Tuesday, January 18th. We wanted to provide these days to you early so you can plan in advance for your family.

Dual Language Information

Dual Language parents had the opportunity to learn and experience specific lessons during our Dual Language Curriculum Night. Thank you to all of our parents for your support and for attending this event. If you were not able to attend, please feel free to review the slides linked here.

Additionally, as our students learn math in Spanish in our Dual Language program, an English digital text is available to you upon request to further support your child at home. Please feel free to let your classroom teacher know if you would like access to the digital math text in English at home, and we can add it to your student's account.

Parent/Guardian Contact Information

Parents/Guardians - Please make sure you have all of your contact information updated in Infinite Campus (email address, phone number, and cell phone number) for absence calls, school, District, and Board newsletters, emergency notifications, etc.

To check your contact information, you can login in Infinite Campus to review and update.

Mobile App

The District 15 mobile app is available on the App Store and Google Play! To download the free app, search for "CCSD15."

This communication tool allows parents and students to quick access to important school and district information, including Campus Parent, the D15 Bullying Tip Line, a quick link to MyStop (bus stop location and pick-up times), lunch menus, schedules, parent/student handbook, directory information, school news, and more.

To see integrated student information on the app, click the "student information" button and log-in using your email address and your Campus Parent password. If you are unsure of your password, please visit Infinite Campus and click "forgot password." If you are still having trouble, please contact your school's main office for assistance.
To make sure you aren’t missing any notices, make sure you turn notifications ON for the mobile app.

If you are not a D15 parent or staff member and would like to receive District updates, download the free mobile app to receive push notifications.

Go to Notifications, Settings, and choose the schools you wish to receive push notifications from.
