Cell biology is the study of cells structure and functions. Cell biology also revolves around how the cell is the smallest unit of life. The cell describes the understanding of tissues and organism.
Matthias Schleiden
Matthias was born April 5th 1804 in Hamburg and died June 23th 1881 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, his death was unclassified. Matthias Schleiden was German Botanist, meaning he studies plants and their structures.He actually discovered the nucleus in a cell. Matthias mother was unknown but his father Andreas Schleiden was a respected Doctor. Matthias never married or had kids.
Theodor Schwann
Theodor was born Dec. 7th 1810 in Neuss Germany and died Jan. 11th 1882 Cologne Germany, his death was not classified. Theodor was a German Botanist and he was the founder of the cell theory and he discovered the metabolism. Theodors father Leonard Schwann was a goldsmith and a printer and his mother Elisabeth Schwann was a German Physiologist. He never got married or have children
Rudolf Vichow
Rudolf was born October 13th 1821 in Swidwin Poland and died September 5, 1902 in Berlin Germany of a heart failure. He was German doctor, Biologist, prehistorian, etc... His father Carl Virchow was a farmer. Little was known of his mother Johanna, she was a penchant of worrying and complaining.He was married to Rose Mayer and had three sons and three daughters.
