Elvis Presley's version of Blue suede shoes was a album track for his album "Elvis Presley" by RCA records. The song was recorded on January 1 , 1956. On February 25th the song entered the top 100 at #2 and stayed there for 4 straight weeks.
Elvis Aaron Presley was born on January 8, 1935, he received the Lifetime achievement award at age 36. He was referred to as one of the most cultural icons in the 20th century. He died at the age of 42 due to prescription drug abuse. I like this song because it is really self explanatory, "Don't step on my blues suede shoes" meaning don't get in my face or disrespect me. Suede shoes cost a lot of money back then and it also goes for respect as well because stepping on anybody's shoes is far from respectful
