Great Minds...
I encourage you not to add to your stress level by speculating about who is being moved to another grade level next year, where they will be and the reasons for the move. Those who I am considering moving have already had a private conversation with me. As I gain information regarding staffing I will make official announcements when I feel confident that plans won't change.
I have promised to be as transparent with you all as humanly possible. I have also encouraged you to cease hallway gossip and focus that energy elsewhere.

Jennie William Little "Leading the Way" Award
Mentoring is an essential part of the teaching tradition, and mentor teachers offer vital support and guidance to new and future educators.
To honor these special teachers for their efforts, Dr. John M. Little has established the Jessie Williams Little “Leading the Way” Award in honor of his wife Winthrop class of ’73.
This statewide award is established as a partnership with the Littles, Winthrop University’s Richard W. Riley College of Education and the James and Susan Rex Institute for Educational Renewal and Partnership. The Jessie Williams Little “Leading the Way” Award for Outstanding Teacher Mentorship will recognize a South Carolina educator who has made a significant impact as a mentor to future or beginning teachers.
