Creating a Histogram
REMINDERS
*A histogram uses VERTICAL BARS to display data.
*A histogram groups data into INTERVALS (number ranges).
*The height of each bar shows HOW MUCH data is in that particular level - this is called the FREQUENCY.

LET'S DO AN EXAMPLE!
Step 1: Choose an interval for the data and record the number of times the data occurs in the table.
Step 2: Draw and label your horizontal and vertical axis.
Step 3: Create a scale for the horizontal and vertical axis using the data created in the table.
Step 4: Draw a bar graph with no space between the bars.
Step 5: Title your graph.
