Book Fair, Pancake Dinner, & Young Author Books!
Last Study Trip of the Year...Flat Fork Creek Park!
Our last trip to Flat Fork Creek Park is scheduled for Friday, April 26th! All who have background checks on file are welcome to join us on this trip. Please email me ASAP if you'd like to attend this study trip with us. I appreciate your help!

Daily Snacks
Please consider sending a snack to school with your child each day. Our approved list (to keep all of our Cardinals safe - especially those living with food allergies) include:

We are Learning
Reading
Next week we will begin to learn about fairy tales. We will focused on various versions. We will be learning how different books are written from different perspectives and the differences between first and third person. We will be reading and writing about Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, and Three Little Pigs.
Writing
Math
This week we worked on subtracting with base ten blocks! Then later in the week we started talking about arrays. We will continue to work on this next week!
Science
We are jumping into solids, liquids, gasses, how water changes form! Some of our new vocabulary might include atmosphere, condensation, evaporation, precipitation, water cycle, gas, liquid, matter, and solid.
