Laugh with Laughing Diva!
If you're happy and you know it clap your hands! That's more than a popular children's song. It's how Laughing Diva starts her class.. Whether you are happy or not , the music will get you going ! laughter yoga requires full finger-on-finger and palm-on-palm contact, which increases our energy levels by stimulating pressure points. While clapping, participants chant "Ho, ho, ha, ha, ha!" This activates the diaphragm and prepares the body to breathe deeply throughout the practice.
During the clapping and chanting warm-up, people may begin dancing or speaking in gibberish. No words are allowed during laughter yoga. . Gibberish is used to lower inhibitions and to bring us back to a more childlike state. Since children often laugh for no reason at all, they're a good model for laughter yoga technique.
After warming up Laughing Diva will lead you through some fun and easy deep breathing and stretching exercises, but the heart of the laughter yoga technique is laughter exercise. Making eye contact which keeps you present , you will then do laughter exercises that will have you laughing
Some examples!
- LAUGH AT YOURSELF ! Easy! Point at your self and think of all the silly things you get up set about ! hahaha
- "Cell phone laughter" REMEMBER THIS ONE AND USE IT WHEN YOU ARE STRESSED. The easiest way to reduce stress and works in less than a second. TRY IT NOW ! Hold an imaginary cell phone, PRETEND TO BE TALKING TO SOMEONE BY REACTING TO THEM " OH REALLY "HAHAHAHA ! laugh NOUT LOUD !!!!HAHAHA HEEEEEE... make funny gestures about their phone call to others around you . "NO WAY "HAHAHAHA
L DIVA' sessions typically ends with her original "YUM CHOCOLATE MEDITATION." Then free flowing laughing , During this time, people breathe deeply and laugh when they feel like it. After a few minutes, L Diva usually ask for the laughter to slow down, come back to earth she say's. We all can come to a grounded and calm state. Then in a slow relaxed state we dance and celebrate life!

Why laugh in a class?
Laughter is social; it's not a solo activity.
"We laugh 30 times as much when we're with other people than we do when we're alone,
You might assume that the 'purpose' of a laugh is to express yourself -- to let people know that you think something is funny. But according to a 2005 article published in the Quarterly Review of Biology, the primary function of laughter may not be self-expression. Instead, the purpose of a laugh could be to trigger positive feelings in other people. When you laugh, the people around you might start laughing in response. Soon, the whole group is cheerful and relaxed. Laughter can ease tension and foster a sense of group unity
