Fourth Grade Student Ambassadors: March "Kind"

Each month, the HES fourth grade teachers nominate student(s) for exemplifying a positive characteristic. All fourth graders will be a student ambassador this school year for the positive characteristic that best suits each student (the order in which the students are nominated by their teacher is irrelevant).

The in-person students participate in a socially distanced community service project with Mr. Weimer, HES Science Teacher and Garden Coordinator. This month's theme was "Kind", and the students cleaned the courtyard, turned the soil in the beds, filled and added bird feeders and baths, and started some weeding.

March "Kind" Student Ambassadors:

Ms. Desimone: Hannah Cook, Ryder Gomes

Ms. Pandiscio: JD Fougere, Deitz Mott, Ayla Kalinowski

Mrs. Cleary: Chloe Ryder, Makayla McDermott

Mrs. Krystofolski: Sophia Duguay, Conor Kent

Mrs. Branchut: Jemma Pina, Ava Green

Mr. Zabielski: Molly Georgio

Mrs. Piknick: Ella Cutter, Scarlett Roberts, Mariana Paixao

Preschool is "Farm-tastic" !

From Mrs. Cronen, Integrated Preschool Teacher:

"This month Monomoy Preschoolers have been learning all about farms. Students have learned the names of animals that live on a farm, what food products come from a far and what machines are used on a farm. Students took a virtual field trip to a farm where they were able to see and compare eggs that come from chickens, ducks and geese. They were also able to see how we get milk from cows and goats! We connected our knowledge with our early learning skills of cutting, gluing and following directions to complete these fun bulletin boards! "

Help your child remember the magical years at HES. The 2020- 2021 Fourth Grade Yearbook will highlight their time at HES, from Kindergarten through Fourth Grade!

Home School Students 2020 - 2021

Do you know friends or family who opted for homeschooling this year? Please spread the word to contact the HES Main Office at 508-430-7216 to indicate if their student(s) are returning to Harwich Elementary School for the 2021-2022 school year (if they have not contacted us already). There is no need for our distance learning families to contact the Office. We are planning on distance learners returning to school at HES next year (there will not be a remote option).
