In recognition of October being Bullying Prevention Month, we're hoping to make "Unity Day" a school-wide celebration on October 20th. Unity Day was created for schools and communities to come together against bullying and to promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.
Part of Unity Day is encouraging everyone to wear orange on Oct. 20th. The color orange was chosen to represent Unity Day because it is described as vibrant, warm and inviting, and is commonly associated with safety and visibility.
