This Week's Focus
Lucid Chart
Lucid Chart is a free, online diagramming tool to create graphic organizers, mind maps, concept maps, Venn diagrams and more. You can share your diagrams with others, publish templates and collaborate with others on your diagram. It can easily integrate Google images and is easy to use with drag and drop. Lots of customization tools also allows for beautiful presentation of information.
What's special about it?
It is integrated with Google Drive - which means students and staff can login direct from their Google Drive account as well as share creations (from Drive, click on Create, then Connect more Apps at bottom, type Lucid in the search bar and then connect).

bubbl.us
What does it do?
This website is best geared for flow-charts, mind maps and brainstorming as opposed to presenting finalized information. It is easy to move bubbles around to organize information and also has several templates to get struggling students started. Great tool for storyboarding, character analysis, creating timelines, or illustrating problem-solving processes.
What's special about it?
This super easy to use mind mapping site has limited options so is great when you want kids to focus on content and not as much on appearance. Plus it helps kids get started right away because there is virtually no learning curve.
Infogr.am
What does it do?
This website lets you create info graphics - visual representations of data - from your own data, including spreadsheets. These info graphics tell a visual story and are also interactive! There are more than 30 types of charts to choose from and the visual editor is drag and drop so it's easy to use. This is a great way to present information learned in a lab, survey or research activity.
What's special about it?
Easy to embed in blogs, digital portfolios and sharing with external audiences. Students could also use this to track their own data progress as they accomplish learning goals and remediation.
