Spring Food Drive: 8th Grade In The Lead to Pie The Principal!
Each grade is competing against one another: the grade which brings in the largest number of items will have students selected to throw a pie in Mr. Guditus' face this June.
The 8th grade is currently in the lead, by a significant margin. So...bring in those items to donate for Beverly Bootstraps! Some of the highest-need items for donations are:
- Meals in a can (stew, chili, soup)
- Tuna and canned meat
- Peanut butter
- Low-sugar cereals
- 100% fruit juices in single serving boxes
- Canned fruit packed in juice
- Canned vegetables (low salt)
- Pasta Sauce
Students from the winning grade will get to throw pies at Mr. Guditus and Pie the Principal!
Sue Gabriel of Beverly Bootstraps explained the needs of food pantries, and why our students' donations will make a difference.
Students returned to H Block to pledge how many items they would donate to our Spring Food Drive for Beverly Bootstraps.
