Cuneiform and Hieroglyphics

Cuneiform Summary
Cuneiform all started in the area of Sumer which was located in Ancient Mesopotamia or present day Iraq. Cuneiform was made by them Sumerians themselves. When it first evolved it was written on tablets of stone. Cuneiform was very often used to document history or anything important. Originally it was only used by the Sumerians but soon it spread all around to the Akkadians, Babylonians, Elamites, Hittites, Assyrians, Hurrians and others.
Hieroglyphics Summary
Hieroglyphics originated from Egyptians. Nobody really knows how hieroglyphics were made but they know they have been around for quite a while. The symbols that made up hieroglyphics were called glyph's, there were anywhere from 700 to 800 glyph's. . Very often hieroglyphics were used to tell stories. Hieroglyphics were mainly used in Egypt. Very few Hieroglyphics are readable as of today.
Similarities
They did not have many similarities at all. They were both used at some point as a way of communication. They were both located on the Rosetta Stone. Other than that they did not have other similarities.
Differences
Cuneiform used many more constants then hieroglyphics did. Also cuneiform was used to document history whereas hieroglyphics was used to tell stories.
