Tiger News

News & Information for Tiger Families

Letter from the Principal

Tiger Families,

It has been a great three weeks of school! Thank you to everyone who attended the Parish Picnic it was wonderful seeing so many students and parents there. We could not be the success we are without wonderful people like you! Thank you!

A lot of great things have been happening at St. Teresa School. While students have been away from the building teachers have been busy learning a new program to enhance and expand our reading groups here at St. Teresa's. Mrs. Robinson and Ms. Keck are engaging students through STEM Challenge activities, while 8th graders with Mrs. Luetkenhaus have been busy completing a Lab Safety Escape Room. This year we also implemented 1:1 Chromebooks for 5th - 8th grade to take home! We are committed to providing the best education experience for our students.

Many students have been celebrated for going above and beyond in the school day with a GOOD NEWS REPORT. We invite you to take part in Good News Report with your student as well! This is a great way to open up the lines of communication and focus on the positives. You can do this simply by asking your student to "tell me something you did good today." It can be as simple as sitting with a friend at lunch, helping a classmate, or talking to someone new. We know our students do many wonderful things during the day, and this is a great opportunity for them to share with you!

Thank you for sharing your student with us. We appreciate your trust, support and partnership.

Sincerely,

Nicole Green

Principal

E-WALLET INFO FOR BOOK FAIR

Families,

E-Wallet is the safest way to send money with your student for Book Fair purchases - no lost cash or checks!

To create an E-Wallet account, login to our Book Fair website:

St. Teresa Book Fair

https://www.scholastic.com/bf/stteresacatholicschool1

Sign in or create an account for your each of your students. If you are creating a new account, you will click on Fund With Credit Card. If you have done E-Wallet in the past, make sure to check Fund with E-Gift Card Balance. It’s important to remember when you use E-Wallet, it’s the same as purchasing a gift card. The balance remains in your E-Wallet until it is used. The funds can be used at Book Fairs or online with Scholastic.

IMPORTANT: Many students who had E-Wallet accounts for the last 2 Book Fairs still have an E-Wallet Balance to use, so please be sure to check that out for this fair. If you created multiple E-Wallet accounts (more than one student), your unused total balance will show up when you login.

Once you have set-up an account you will receive an e-mail confirmation. You may print out the E-Wallet code for your child, but just know that I will see all the E-Wallet accounts on my cash register when your student shops at the fair. Please make sure you have indicated your student’s teacher name as that is how I will find your student’s E-Wallet.

If you need any assistance with E-Wallet, please don’t hesitate to e-mail me. I want to make sure everyone who has an E-Wallet balance gets to use it towards some fun book purchases!

ALSO PLEASE NOTE: We cannot use E-Wallet funds for our “All For Books” pencil & lollipop pull. We must collect cash ($.25 each pull) as those funds are spent on books from the fair for our library. Thanks for your support!

See you at the Book Fair!
