Integrating Technology in Your Classroom
January 17, 2017
Would you like to integrate more technology into your classroom, but you don't know where to start?
Technology Integration
Start Small!
Pick one lesson you would like to enhance.
You're not alone!
Search for resources others have already created and shared. Google, YouTube, Pinterest, and Twitter are great resources.
Be patient.
It may not work on your first try, and that's okay!
Make the technology fit your personal style.
Technology can't replace your greatest asset... YOU! Human connections are essential to focus on, no matter how much technology you have.
Ask your CIT for help!
We LOVE searching for the perfect tool(s) to enhance lessons. We can help plan, co-teach, or just be there for support in case something goes wrong!
Show off your great work!
Once you start integrating technology into your classroom, submit for pins in the CIT Challenge. Be a self advocate, and show off what you've accomplished with pins and badges. The more pins and badges you earn, the better chance you have at winning some pretty cool prizes!
Marlina Peck at Cottonwood Creek Elementary won a Chromebook from last semester's CIT Challenge drawing. She went above and beyond with technology integration, and her prize is well deserved!
