Electives Fair and Performing Arts Showcase
Students will begin the course selection process for the 2023-2024 school in the middle of February. To help students choose their electives, Valhalla is putting on an Elective Fair and Performing Arts Showcase on Friday, January 27th. At the fair, students will learn about the elective classes offered at Valhalla High School prior to choosing classes for the 23-24 school year
To ensure student have plenty of time to view all of their options, we will be on an extended lunch school; i.e. lunch will last for 44 minutes. You can view the modified bell schedule here.
Scholarship Night is this Monday (January 23rd) at 6:00pm at Grossmont College in Griffin Gate (right above the bus circle). Attendees can park in any student lot with no charge. This event is for all grades and parents/guardians.
Cash for College is Saturday, January 28th 9:00am-noon at Monte Vista High School. This event is for seniors and parents/guardians of seniors who need assistance completing the FAFSA or Dream Act application in English or Spanish
Orange Nation Showcase!
Arrive at 5:00pm and enjoy a burger from Pitmaster Principal Johnson. Instrumental Music performs at 5:30pm and the Welcome in the Thunderdome starts at 5:45pm.
Teachers, Staff and Coaches will be available the rest of the evening to answer questions and provide info about our award-winning programs and high-ranking academics. We look forward to showing off how great it is to be a part of the Orange Nation.

Attend Thursday January 26, 2023 at MLK Center at Bayview at 12:30pm to 5pm. Please see FLYER for more information.
- Opportunities for ALL...Get Accepted on the SPOT, students please bring at least 10 copies your transcripts. ACT or SAT test scores are NOT necessary, however if you have them bring them (some colleges may accept 11th graders on the spot).
Application fees waived. Save hundreds $$$
