Program Coordinator and Instructors
SEDA is looking for 3 students able to work as Program Coordinators and Instructors.
DUTIES:
- Create, update and revise Speech/Debate materials and resources for the SEDA Website.
- Plan and prepare online programming for Summer Camps and Workshops with the Executive Director and as part of the SEDA Team.
- Prepare materials and programs to be used for Workshops, the 2020-2021 Season and 2020 National Seminar.
- Provide Leadership and instruction for Programs, Camps and Workshops.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Extensive Debate and Speech Knowledge and experience; Experience in teaching and working with students; Strong communication skills; Word processing and online/digital/computer skills;
Independent worker; Team player.
SALARY: $15 per Hour
This is a position funded through the Canada Summer Jobs program from June to August 2020.
The CSJ Program has been flexible in the number of weeks, and the number of hours within those weeks, that Summer Students may work. Work terms and schedules will be discussed in the interview process. To be eligible to apply for this position, the student must be between 15 and 30 years of age as of June 2020 start date and legally entitled to work in Canada.

Executive Director
We are looking for a leader who will work with SEDA’s employees, Board of Directors, Board Committees, and Working Groups to achieve the long-term strategic goals of the organization and to manage daily activities in a manner that advances SEDA’s mission and keeps it resilient and sustainable.
Reporting to SEDA’s Board, the Executive Director is responsible for:
Providing collaborative leadership that inspires, motivates, and enables employees, board members, and volunteers to deliver on the strategic priorities of SEDA
Creating conditions that provide an opportunity for growth and development and increase knowledge and skills among staff, volunteers, and program participants
Managing all administrative aspects of the organization and programs to ensure SEDA is effectively meeting its financial, operational, and strategic goals.
- Ensuring that SEDA’s financial management processes are sound and transparent
- Leading SEDA’s fundraising efforts
This position is located in Saskatoon. Some evening and weekend hours as well as occasional travel across and beyond the province are required for this role. A job description for the position may be requested via the email address below.

The salary for this position will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications, within a range of $40,000 to $55,000 per year.
