Veterinary Science Proficency
Hannah Miller | Cross County FFA
In May 2014, I began job shadowing at Osceola Veterinary Hospital. I have just under 300 hours of unpaid work experience. Through this experience I have learned about the day to day operations of a rural mixed practice Veterinary Clinic. Following my high school graduation I plan to attend Kansas State University in their pre-vet program, with a major in Animal Science and Industry and a Minor in Agribusiness. Following the completion of the undergraduate program, I will then apply to receive my doctoral and Veterinary License. As a vet I hope to someday work in a rural community as a farm vet.
The Cross County students after place second as a team in the Vet Science competition.
