News from Miss Sheets

I can’t believe it, our last full month of school! Before we know it, it will be summer vacation. Last day of school is June 14th. Thank you for another great year!


Here are a few things you need to know before the end of the year. Our end of the year field trip will be on June 8-10th. I will be sending home information soon as we prepare for travel.


Mark your calendars and let family know that 8th Grade Graduation and End of Year Celebration will be June 14th at 6:00 pm followed by cake and ice cream.

Reminder - School Dress Code

As the weather begins to warm, remember the school dress code when getting ready for school in the morning.

• Shorts/skirts/dresses are to be of midthigh length.

• The length of shirts must extend beyond the belt level and the student’s midriff must not be visible. Shirts and dresses must fully cover the back and chest area and have adequate shoulder straps. Single strap or spaghetti strap shirts and dresses are not allowed.

May 20 - Volunteer Work Party

Come help as we work to clean up the grounds and complete some school maintenance projects. Work party begins at 9 am.

June 24 - Pleasant Valley School 120th Anniversary

Pleasant Valley School opened its doors for the first time during the summer of 1903. This year we are commemorating the 120th Anniversary with an Open House and old-fashioned ice cream social. Please come celebrate with us from 11:00-2:00 on June 24th!
