Counseling Resources

NBVC Military Counselor

It is my pleasure to introduce myself and give you a snapshot overview of the Military and Family Life Counseling (MFLC) services on Campus. My name is Ms. Ana Montenegro and I am the E.O. Green Junior High Military School Counselor. As an MFLC Counselor, I provide short term, non-medical counseling and support to the military students and their families. Military life can bring about its own set of challenges in the family and can manifest in different ways. The MFLC can help support you and your child though these challenges and in the areas of: school adjustment, deployment and separation, reunion adjustment, sibling and parent-child communication, behavioral concerns, and fear or grief and loss issues. The MFLC also provides resources available on base and outside in the surrounding community based on the needs of the individual and family. I am on campus on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and you can either contact me by: calling the school directly or stopping by the front office and request a meeting with the Military Counselor.
