Vocabulary PEAK Strategy
What is it?
Students use repetition both chorally and visually to learn operational phrases, definitions or formulas.

How do I use this strategy?
Using a white board, interactive board or projector, the teacher displays an important "operational" sentence, definition or formula that students are to learn. After the teachers has led the students in choral reading the content several times they students then copy the content on a sheet of paper. Students will read from the board and the sheet of paper over and over again, but in between each time one word is eliminated and a box or underline is put in its place.
