Virtual Job Shadow Day - 8th Grade Only
Attention 8th Grade Parents
Job Shadow Day is around the corner!!! The event will look a bit different this year; however we have an exciting activity planned for our 8th grade students. This coming Monday (A day) and Tuesday (B day) students will be engaging in an online Job Shadow experience. Students will watch videos of a chosen professional and will then complete a reflection activity. Please have your student bring a pair of headphones with them (Monday for A day students, Tuesday for B day students) for this activity. Bluetooth headphones will not connect in the building. Students will need a pair of "old school" headphones with a standard jack (see picture for an example). Our 8th grade virtual students will also be participating, but they will not have to have headphones. We look forward to our students learning about potential careers next week!
It is due by the end of the day FRIDAY JANUARY 15, 2021.
Important Information for PE classes!
ALL PE classes (face-to-face & virtual) will begin our Human Sexuality Unit on Monday, January 11th. Please see the attached, grade level specific, handouts for more information on what will be covered during their lessons. If you would like your student to opt out of the lesson please complete the form and/or communicate with Coach Hamilton or Coach Gesell.

Back Pack Program
Fort Mill School District currently participates in the Backpack Program in collaboration with Second Harvest Food Bank to provide a “backpack” full of nutritious, ready to eat foods that is sent home on weekends and holidays to identified students at the elementary level. We would like to know if this is something any of our families need at the middle school level. If this is something that would benefit your family, please email your School Counselor.
