Fall 2015 Hitimu Celebration
Join us as we celebrate our Fall 2015 Graduates
Attention Graduating Seniors & Graduate Students!
The Office of Student Affairs requests your presence at the Annual Fall Hitimu Celebration, Friday, December 11, 2015. Starting at 5:00pm, there will be a dinner at Winslow Dining Facility and then starting at 7:00 pm the program will start in the Curris Center Theater.
Hitimu, pronounced [hi-tee-mooh], is a Swahili word which means graduate, finish education, complete, qualify or end. We have adopted the word Hitimu as our theme to showcase the rich cultural heritage that exists on Murray State’s Campus. As part of the celebration all graduates will receive a MSU lapel pin, graduation stole, and a certificate of achievement.
*Hitimu is Swahili for graduate; finish education; complete; qualify or end.
Please RSVP online by Monday, November 30, 2015. Family and Friends are always welcome!
This event is sponsored by the Marvin D. Mills Multicultural Center, Food Services, Murray State University Division of Student Affairs, and the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
