Mad Science Assembly

Big thanks to our Cooper PTA for funding and hosting the Mad Science Assembly today! Our young scientists had an amazing time experimenting and exploring Fire and Ice. We are so grateful to all who support the Cooper PTA to make assemblies like this possible for our students!

Middle School World Language Survey for Rising 6th Graders

Cherry Hill Public Schools is proud to offer a robust World Language program. Students study French or Spanish in middle school, and then select from a variety of languages and course offerings at the high school level. Upperclassmen have the opportunity to earn the New Jersey Seal of Biliteracy by demonstrating their proficiency in English and a second language - WE are proud to share that 99 members of the Class of 2022 earned the Seal of Biliteracy this year!

Please complete the Middle School World Language Survey form in Genesis to indicate if your child would like to study French or Spanish. This choice will determine your child’s World Language experience throughout middle school. You will not be able to switch once this choice is made.

The form is due by Thursday, April 14, 2022.

Kindergarten and 1st Grade Registration:

If any families of incoming kindergarten or 1st grade students have not yet registered for the 2022-2023 school year please help us to plan accordingly for next year by registering today! Click Here for the district flyer. Click Here to begin the registration process.

Take Your Child to Work Day

April 28, 2022 is Take Your Child to Work Day.

In New Jersey, this is an excused absence for students who wish to go with their parents/guardians to visit their workplace and learn about their careers and responsibilities.

If your child will be absent for this event, please send a note to the main office indicating that your child will be participating in Take Your Child to Work Day on April 28th, 2022, so we can record the absence as excused in our Genesis system.

Upcoming Author Visit:

The author of the Name Jar is coming to Cooper Elementary!

Our Cooper PTA is graciously providing an author visit with Yangsook Choi May 3rd. Earlier in the school year, all classrooms read The Name Jar and participated in a No Place for Hate activity centered around the importance of our names...the first gift we receive in life.

Linked here is the flyer for this highly anticipated event. We are so grateful to our Cooper PTA for making this visit possible!
