Principal's Message
Greetings Families,
Hawthorne students, families, and staff - YOU ARE APPRECIATED! Thank you for an amazing school year! School-wide attendance is up and infractions are down thanks to your hard work and focus on what is important. We are very appreciative of the families that came to Awards Day to celebrate the results of our efforts. We want to thank you for the opportunity of working with your most prized possession, your children. We have the finest staff at Hawthorne working hard to drive student success. Congrats to our very own Stephanie Coleman, Warren Township's Teacher of the Year for Elementary and Dana Butler, the Hawthorne Support Person of the Year. Visit the local Indianapolis Public Library and sign up for the Summer Reading Program. This program is for preschoolers, school-age kids, teens, parents and caregivers from June 3 to July 27, 2019. This is a great way to continue working on those reading skills! Thank you again for a fantastic year! Registration is July 16 12:00 - Noon PM. Have a wonderful summer and stay safe. We will see you back here on July 29!.
