Go to the D303 website - Our Schools - Student Handbooks - 2022-2023 - Elementary Handbook and Discipline Procedures Addendum. Please note that you will not be receiving a paper copy this year. It is the responsibility of each family to review both handbooks with their children. Thank you for your support.

Being on time matters! 43.5 reasons why!
7:45-8:00 Morning Arrival Window
Please do everything you can to make sure your child arrives at school at 7:45 so that they do not miss out on any connection time and learning with their classmates. Just so you are aware, classroom teachers begin the learning day at 7:45 by personally welcoming each child, and engaging with them in order to connect and build positive relationships. Learning and organizational activities begin in every classroom at 7:45 AM. If your child always arrives at 8:01 AM every school day, that is the equivalent of 43.5 hours of missed instruction throughout the school year. That's a lot of learning!
District 303 Families: Staying Connected with Schoology
District 303 is beginning to use Schoology, an integrated learning management system that provides course management, mobile learning, and support for system-wide communication. Full implementation across the district starts this fall with grades 6-12+. District-wide implementation begins in the fall of 2023. However, you will see Schoology being utilized at the elementary level with courses such as Empower, LRC, and possibly by your child’s classroom teacher. Schoology enables our students, parents and teachers to engage with learning materials and their school community from the classroom and beyond. We look forward to using Schoology in our classrooms to enhance connectivity and communication across our district.
With Schoology, students can digitally submit homework assignments, review grades, participate in interactive discussions, receive announcements and feedback, take tests, write academic blogs, and more. As a parent, you will be able to view your child’s activity within the platform.
If you are interested in being an adult observer within your child’s Schoology course, please sign up for a Schoology parent account using the unique access code and follow the directions below:
*If you completed this step and are already connected to your child’s account, you do not need to do this again.*
- Go to www.schoology.com (Different from student login site.)
- Click Register at the top of the page and choose Parent.
- Enter your Parent/Guardian Access Code. This is my 12-digit code for Isaiah:
NQQ2-WNKN-Q4S3
- Fill out the form with your information.
- Click Register to complete.
- When you use a Parent/Guardian Access Code to create an account, you are automatically associated with your child. You can add additional children to your account using the Add Child Button.
To observe your child’s Schoology account, go to the upper right corner, under Your Name, the drop down menu will have your child’s name. The green check highlights the current account in view.
