Welcome Back!!

Live vs. Independent Time
Live Instruction
This is two-way, real-time instruction that requires students and teachers to be present at the same time, virtually. Students will connect via Zoom and will complete lessons and activities assigned by the teacher in SeeSaw (K-1), or Canvas (2-5). Examples include:
- Live interactive classes with students and teachers participating in real-time
- Teachers working with students
- Teacher-supported structured work time on Zoom
- Scheduled and timed online assessments
- Students WILL NOT be on Zoom all day long! The teacher will have the flexibilty to be available on Zoom if students have questions and/or for teachers to work with students in small groups or individual support.
Independent Learning
This is self-guided student instruction that does not require all participants to be present on Zoom at the same time. Students will be expected to access and complete teacher-assigned lessons and activities in SeeSaw (k-1) or Canvas (2-5). Teachers will be working with small groups of students and providing targeted small group instruction.
Apps: SeeSaw (K-1) Canvas (2-5), & Googledrive (K-5) - These are the only apps your students should be working in. We are trying to keep things simple. :)
Remember: Our goal is to take the burden of teaching off of your shoulders and make sure students have the supports in place to reach their high quality learning expectations. Please be sure to reach out if you need extra support.
