There's An App For Counseling
Use our counseling app to keep updated on current events, activities, information and more. The app also includes a virtual backpack where you can view information that counselors regularly receive. Please allow us to send you event notifications so that reminders will appear right on your phone! Since our app is not on the app store you will need to cut and paste one of the web sites below into your phone browser.
If you like the app let us know!

Method Test Prep
Did you know that your high school student has access to Method Test Prep? This is an online course that will help build the math, reading and writing skills measured by the SAT and/or ACT. By clicking on the Free Test Prep link inside their Naviance Family Connection account they can start using this online program immediately.
Hot Off The Presses
Students as young as 12 may be posting nasty anonymous messages about themselves. A new study found that 1 in 20 youth have digitally self-harmed. Although cyber self-harm may not leave visible scars it does pose a real emotional danger to adolescents, especially those who have self-esteem issues. If you suspect that your child is engaging in cyber self-harm do not hesitate to talk with your child about it. Let him/her know that no matter how impossible the issues they face may seem they are not alone. Interested in learning more?

High School Counseling
High School Counselors enjoyed celebrating Halloween with our students. We find that a little laughter is always good before the November 1st deadline that some seniors are facing.
Middle School Counseling
Middle School Counselors talked with students about tolerance and provided opportunities for students to interact with peers they don't know well. A human bingo game and a "mix it up" lunch made for a fun day! Although Unity Day is once a year, let's not forget that tolerance and acceptance are life-long skills that all students need to be good global citizens and future employees. Talk with your children about being kind every day. Learn more here:
