Red Ribbon Week
Monday- Dress Up to Bring Drugs Down!
- Students are encouraged to wear fancy clothes.
Tuesday- We CAN Say NO to Drugs!
- Students are encouraged to bring a canned good to school- our class is also dressing up in our pajamas that day! No slippers, stuffed animals, or anything else please. Just PJ's!
Wednesday- Be Drug Free to Support a Healthy Me!
- Students are encouraged to wear exercise clothes and tennis shoes. Jerseys and cheer-leading outfits work too!
Thursday- Wear RED to Support a Drug Free Lifestyle!
- Students are encouraged to wear the color red - red EVERYTHING if they want! We will be taking a whole school picture as well!
Friday- Be of Good Character- Be Drug Free!
- Students are encouraged to dress up as their favorite book character. We discussed in class the difference between book character and dressing up for Halloween. Students should know what book their character is from and they cannot bring props to school (even Harry Potter can't bring his wand).
As always, students are encouraged to participate but they don't have to if they don't want to. If a child comes to school and forgets to dress up, they will not be calling home to have you bring them an outfit.
