Week of March 13
Winter and Spring Sports
It was a great weekend in Hershey as we had 6 wrestlers competing in the PIAA state championships. Congratulations to Max Tancini who finished 6th and Gavin Pascoe who finished 7th! This is the first time in school history in which two wrestlers in the same season earned a medal. I also would like to congratulate the girls DMR relay team of Abrielle Schweitzer, Ashley Pickles, Lily Tremba, and Sienna Miller for their performance at the New Balance Nationals, held in Boston, Massachusetts. The girls finished 15th in the meet running a season best time of 12:31.54 which places them as one of the best 50 times in the country. The girls basketball team also continued their winning ways with a first round state playoff win over Red Lion. The Lady Vikings will play again tomorrow at Plymouth Whitemarsh versus Archbishop Carroll as we look to advance to the quarterfinals of the state playoffs. Good luck to our girls basketball team and all of our Spring Sports as we have the official start of Spring Sports this week.
Sincerely,
Robert L. Felty Jr.
