Board Policy 7434 - Use of Tobacco on School Premises
The School Board is dedicated to providing a healthy, comfortable, and productive environment for students, staff, and community. The Board recognizes and supports the positive impact and the importance of adult role modeling for students during their time at school and expects it to be in a smoke/tobacco free environment.
The Board recognizes that the use of tobacco presents a health hazard which can have serious consequences for both the user and the nonuser and is, therefore, of concern to the Board.
For purposes of this policy, "use of tobacco" shall mean all uses of tobacco, including a cigar, cigarette, pipe, snuff, or any other matter or substance that contains tobacco, as well as electronic, "vapor," or other substitute forms of cigarettes.
In order to protect students and staff who choose not to use tobacco from an environment noxious to them, and because the Board cannot, even by indirection, condone the use of tobacco, the Board prohibits the use of tobacco by anyone in school buildings and Corporation-owned vehicles,on school grounds, on school buses, or at any school-related event at all times.

Accidents Happen
Bus Rider Parents/Guardains
Our buses have become very efficient. It is so very important that you are out at the bus stop at least five minutes before your child's bus is scheduled to arrive.
As a friendly reminder, the bus will NOT stop if you are waiting in your car, or waiting on your porch. The bus will only stop if you are outside at the corner of the street where the doors of the bus open.
If a parent is not at the stop three times then that child will be suspended from the bus for ten school days.
