Change for Change Kicks Off Monday!
Our coin drive fundraiser, Change for Change, is next week and the kids are PUMPED! Why? They get to dress up, AND the students voted for the school-wide incentives for this fundraiser! Here are the rewards they chose:
- If we raise $1,000, every student gets 10 extra minutes of recess!
- If we raise $3,000, every student gets a popsicle!
- If we meet our goal of $10,000, we’re having a school-wide pajama day!
No matter what we raise, we’re making SSC a better place, and we get to have fun while we do it! See below for a schedule of what to send next week, and how to dress!

PTO Fundraising 2019-2020
What are our fundraisers? Our major fundraisers include our annual fall Change for Change drive and our spring Fairy Tale Festival. Throughout the year we will also have school spirit nights, everyday fundraisers, PTO dues and donations, and offer spirit wear. This handout will give you a look ahead at what to expect during the school year and let you know how much money we hope to raise at each event.
Change for Change October 7th – 11th Our annual Change for Change fall fundraiser is a coin drive that kicks off October 7th. This week students will bring in coins, bills and checks. Mondays: Pennies. Tuesday: Nickels. Wednesday: Dimes. Thursday: Quarters. Friday: Any coins, bills and checks. This is a very successful fundraiser for SSC. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for our school.
Fairy Tale Festival Friday, February 28th, 2020 Last year we introduced a new fundraiser that was a huge success! We hope you’ll join us for dancing, stories, activities, character photos, dessert and much more! Dress up as your favorite fairy tale character if you wish. Our Fairy Tale Festival is a community-wide event so bring a neighbor or a friend. Tickets are needed for children 2 and up, and they are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. All activities are included in the ticket price and Chick-fil-A will be available for purchase with 10% of sales donated to SSC! The Fairy Tale Festival will also kick off our silent auction fundraiser. The goal of this event, including the auction, is to raise $9,000 for our school.
Spirit Nights There will be four spirit nights held throughout the year - two in the fall and two in the spring. The goal for our Spirit Nights is to raise $1,000 total ($250 per event) for our school.
