RMS Football 2020 Update:
Good Afternoon Panthers!
This message is for ANY 6th or 7th grade student interested in being a part of the 2020 football team.
With school being out through the end of the year we will be modifying some processes. The most obvious being Spring Practice/Tryouts. I do not know what the future holds, but I want to be proactive so we are prepared to get to work as soon as it is safe and we get the green light. One way we can do that is by beginning to gather information. I need to two forms below completed if you have not already done so- the sooner we get this done the better. Please have this done by next Friday, April 24th.
Please take a moment to join our remind by texting @2697ge to 81010. I will try to send updates through remind 101 and directly to your email after this messenger blast. Make sure you complete the above forms to be on the email list.
Thank you,
Brian Sudderth
RMS Head Football Coach
RMS Athletic Development Fundraiser Update:
If you received Moon Pies to sell as part of our spring athletics fundraiser please complete the form linked below. I need to start gathering information for our fundraising vendor. Once the shelter in place has been lifted we will start looking at a plan for gathering left over product, collecting money, and filling any outstanding orders that you may have that people have already paid you for prior to our closure. Please do not try to come to the school and turn in your things right now. Please wait until you get information directly from me about the plan before doing anything.
The form is linked here- please complete by Monday, April 20th. On the form please make sure to include the best email to contact you. The message regarding our plan for collection will come directly from me to your inbox.
Thank you,
Brian Sudderth
Athletic Director

The Place of Forsyth County
The Place of Forsyth has been working to support families during this difficult time in our community. This includes helping to distribute bags of food so that our kids and families have the essential items that they need. The Place continues to receive first time requests for assistance from families, including several who are in need of support due to the financial impact they are facing because of COVID-19.
Creating meal kits for families and giving financial assistance requires additional resources. We are confident this community will help us meet the needs of the most vulnerable during this time.
