Wolfs Facts

Habitat: A wolf can live in many places such as a forest, swampy areas, deserts and artic areas.The Grey Wolf lives in many areas around the world, mostly cold tundras or forests. Arctic wolves live in the Arctic Circle. A red wolf can be found on the east coast of the U.S. An Indian wolf is found in India. And the Mexican wolf is found in the Sonora Desert!

Pray: Wolves are carnivores but will eat other food if neaded. Their diet ranges from big game, such as elk and moose, to earthworms, berries and grasshoppers.To not use too much energy catching food the, they attack on weaker members of a herd, such as old, young or sick animals. In summer when the heards migrate wolves eat mice, birds and even fish. Wolves eat their food very quickly to protect it from being stolen. Wolves can eat every 5-6 hours when food is plentyful, or they can live on scraps for 2 weeks when there is less food around. Pups are fed by the adults who disgorge fresh meat from their stomachs, or carry back fresh pieces of meat to the den.

Predeters: Wolves don't really have any predeters exept for humans, wich kill them for there fur and meat.
