The Orchestra Needs our HELP!
CALLING ALL ACTORS!!!
ORHS Orchestra's upcoming Winter Event (December 14th time TBD) will feature a winters journey showcasing a story (Written by Nora Younger) about the classic holiday tale of Past, Present, and Future. We will have 3 different scenes, each with its mini story and accompanied by one of our Orchestra's string quartets. However, we need actors to quietly sit/act out scenes as the quartets play and the storytellers tell. If you're interested, contact Joy Bonamarte at joybonamarte@yahoo.com.
CALLING ALL SINGERS!!!
In addition to the "Winter's Journey", we expect to have many activities located outside of the school. These include custom hot cocoa from a local barista truck, games, crafts, photo booths and more. While everyone enjoys these activities, we would like Carolers to sing carols in the background to add to the atmosphere. If you're interested, contact Joy Bonamarte at joybonamarte@yahoo.com.
Many Thanks, Brandon Bonamarte,
ORHSTSA Secretary
Principle Cellist
Student Council Representative

Ghosts (Sound, Lighting, Set)
Ghosts! Meet on Wednesdays to work on set, lights and sound from 2-4
Lighting Thief will be upon us in a hurry. Be thinking about how you can best serve the tech portion of the production. Depending on weather and schedules I may start some building over Christmas break. This will be sent out over remind. Parents are wanted and appreciated if I am able to make this happen.
The Fixer Uppers (Costumes)
Fixer Uppers meet in the dressing room every Tuesday from 4:00-5:30. Please stay in the cafeteria or quietly in the auditorium until Mrs. Meylink arrives at 4pm.
Beggars (Fundraising)
Beggars meet during the officer meetings on Wednesdays during lunch in CS345. It's time to work on Sponsorship for the rest of the season! If you know a business or individuals who would be interested in sponsoring Masquers, please let us know!!
Newsies will now have two groups!
Communications - will meet every Monday during 3a lunch in Mrs. Lloyd's room (CS345) to look through the Friday newsletter and get it ready for review. This group will also discuss the publicity and marketing for Masquers.
Box Office - will meet during 3a lunch every other Thursday in Dr. Pickel's room (CS236). Next Meeting, Thursday, January 6th. If you are interested in being a part of the Front of House/Box Office Team, please join us Thursday at 11!
The Social Committee will meet the first Tuesday of each month during 3b in Dr. Vaughn's Room - CS230
Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, December 6th. We will discuss December-February events.
Masquers has a monthly event in order for all groups to get together and meet! Join us for our meetings the first Tuesday of every month during 3b. Our group promotes community, and we would love to have you. For questions and updates, text Cailyn Lawson at 865-206-0330.
Founding Fathers will meet in Mrs. Lloyd's Room (CS345) - on Tuesday mornings @ 7:15
Our Next Meeting will be on Tuesday, December 13th in room CS345 @ 7:15am

We have begun an exciting long-term project already, and the first set of promos have been claimed. However, if you were unsure whether you wanted to participate in this project, and are not involved in it currently, you can be involved in the next set of promos, so it's never too late to join. Feel free to contact Norah Younger with any questions at (865)454-2999.
